Saving a kitten is absolutely heroic. There's a sense of responsibility and patience. You intervened in something that could have gone terribly wrong. You chose compassion over anything else. The impact is enormous. This kitten will now grow, will stretch in the sunlight, will demand dinner at 6 pm sharp, and will curl up on its owner's lap like it's never had such love before. She will chase toys, and be loved in return. This story is amazing for so many reasons. Imagine a kitten really just moments after birth, and some stranger was about to take its life away from her. No said this girl, and rightfully so.
